Invited to be the ruler of Thebes having solved the riddle of the Sphinx, Oedipus now faces a greater challenge. Can he save his people from the terrible plague that overwhelms them by finding the the late king's murderer.
As he interrogates one man after another in only a single day he is led to a terrifying, cruel but inevitable conclusion.
